If you are planning for overseas study, we recommend that you give the IELTS (Academic) / TOEFL test in the final year of study so that the band/score validity that you achieve will be valid for a period of 2 years after your graduation. In the case of work/immigration it is recommended to give IELTS (General). The choice of test and the fee is to be confirmed from the official test conducting organization’s website. If you fail to meet the required band in your first attempt, you need to pay the test fee again. In order to avoid this, it is important that you get trained for at least 3 months before appearing for the exam if your language is at intermediate level. The registration for IELTS / TOEFL test and paying the test fee must be done from your end. TDP is not associated with any testing agency.
It is also your responsibility to confirm with any genuine study abroad / immigration consultants, university representatives of the respective countries to find out the suitability and acceptance of the test.
