TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardised test to measure the competence of learners particularly non-native speakers in using English language effectively in a college or university classroom. This test is accepted in more than 11500 universities and other organisations in over 160 countries. The following are the three versions of the test that is available for the learners.

Unlike IELTS, this test is commonly considered as an admission test for colleges and universities abroad and offers Academic English.

TOEFL iBT (This is to be taken on a computer from an authorized test centre)

TOEFL iBT Home Edition (This test as the name suggests has to be attempted on a computer at home)

TOEFL iBT Paper Edition (Reading/Listening/Writing modules to be attempted at authorized test centre and the speaking module to be taken on a computer at home)
